A purpose built nursery unit for children in their pre-school year is situated in the school grounds. This separate building provides high quality nursery education for 52 children in two sessions, morning or afternoon. The school is lead by the same principal as the primary school, Mrs Christine Harper, and has a staff of one teacher and one classroom assistant.
Glendhu Nursery School is a bright, modern, purpose built single unit nursery school and is situated off the Garnerville Road in East Belfast. The school opened in the early 1970's and offers nursery education on a fulltime basis to the children in the locality. Twenty-six children are admitted to the school each year. The school is open from 8.30 am - 3.30 pm each day. The full-time teaching session is from 9.00 am - 1.30 pm.
The staff consists of a Principal teacher and a Nursery Assistant, both well experienced, a Caretaker/Cleaner and Dining Attendant.
Dundela Infants' School Nursery Unit is an integral part of Dundela Infants' School. The Nursery has two full day classes of 26, each staffed by a teacher and a nursery assistant. The Nursery day is from 9.00 am - 1.30 pm and school dinners are provided.
